Da Vinci Public Relations - the outlook for 2010

James Essinger, principal of Da Vinci Public Relations, believes the outlook for business as a whole in 2010, and for the public relations industry in particular, is promising. He says:

'There are definite signs of economic recovery, and in this more promising environment, I believe organisations are again going to be making marketing and public relations initiatives a priority.'

James adds:

'During 2010, while Da Vinci will be continuing to offer its broad range of public relations services, it will be giving a particular focus to publicising organisations whose products and services include a high level of thought content. These organisations would include, for example, consultancies and advisers across many commercial and industrial sectors.

'We are, I believe, highly adept at finding innovative, cost-effective and truly efficient ways of promoting such organisations in all the media that matter to them. This includes of course the national press as well as key trade and professional press. We will also be working to feature our clients' key executives extensively in relevant conferences and seminars.

'As always, the name of the game is working intelligently with clients to advance their own business development objectives. I believe our clients will testify that we devote real passion, energy and conscientiousness to this task in order to help them achieve their commercial goals.'

In recent months James has become an avid user of the new high-speed rail service that speeds passengers from Canterbury to London St Pancras International in just 60 minutes, and from Ashford International to London in only 37 minutes. 'Being based in Canterbury allows us to pass on our lower overheads to our clients, which is important from the point of view of maximising the cost-effectiveness of our services,' James says. 'The new high-speed service means that Canterbury is now in effect a suburb of London as far as easy access to the capital is concerned.'
